About PrompTub
Last updated: 18 September 2026
PrompTub is a free, independently run library of AI image prompts. Every prompt on this site is written by hand, actually run through the tools it targets, and rewritten until the result is genuinely good. The image you see on each page is the result that prompt produced.
Who we are
PrompTub is owned and operated by Meet Soni and Heet Soni, two independent creators based in India. This is not a company-backed product and there is no venture money behind it — it is a project we build and maintain ourselves.
We started using AI image tools the way most people do: typing a sentence, getting something disappointing, and assuming the model was the problem. It was not. The instructions were. Once we started writing prompts the way a photographer writes a shot list — naming the lens, the lighting, the grade, the mood — the results changed completely. PrompTub is where we keep what worked.
Between us we handle everything on this site: writing and testing the prompts, generating the sample images, building and maintaining the website, and answering every email that comes in.
What you will find here
- Image prompts only. Portraits, logos, product shots, anime, 3D renders, architecture, food, fashion and more. We do not pad the library with generic text prompts.
- A real example with every prompt. You see the output before you spend a single credit or generation on it.
- Fill-in-the-blank structure. Every prompt uses clearly marked [PLACEHOLDERS] so you can adapt it to your own subject instead of copying ours.
- Tool-specific parameters. Aspect ratios, stylize values and version flags are included and explained, not left for you to guess.
How a prompt gets published
- Written from scratch around a real creative task — not scraped from another prompt list.
- Generated. We run it, compare the results, and keep the best one. That image gets published alongside the prompt.
- Tightened. Vague adjectives come out. Lens, lighting, color grade, composition and aspect ratio go in.
- Documented with the placeholders you need to fill and the tools it performs best on.
- Revisited. Models change. When a prompt stops producing what the sample shows, we rewrite it or take it down.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no email capture, no credit card and no paid tier. Every prompt on this site is free to copy and free to use commercially.
PrompTub is funded entirely by advertising displayed on the site. That is the whole business model — you get the prompts, advertisers pay for the attention, and nothing is locked behind a payment.
We never ask you to click an advertisement, and clicking one gives you nothing extra. Prompts unlock on a short timer regardless of what you do with the ads on the page. You can read more about this in our Terms of Use.
Editorial independence
We do not accept payment to feature a prompt, a tool or a brand. If that ever changes, any paid placement will be clearly labelled as such on the page it appears on. Advertising served on this site is chosen by the ad network, not by us, and an ad appearing here is not an endorsement.
Contribute a prompt
If you have written a prompt that consistently produces excellent images, send it to us through the contact page along with an example result. If we publish it, we credit you by name.
