This Privacy Policy explains what information PrompTub collects when you visit promptub.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what choices you have. It applies to every page on this website.

PrompTub is owned and operated by Meet Soni and Heet Soni (“we”, “us”, “our”). For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller for this website. You can reach us at any time at support@promptub.com.

By using this website you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

1. Information we collect

We do not ask you for personal information. There are no user accounts on this site, no signup forms, no newsletter and no comment section. You can browse every page and copy every prompt without telling us who you are.

The only ways we ever receive personal information are:

• If you email us. We then hold your email address and the contents of your message so that we can reply. We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, and we never add you to any mailing list.
• Automatically, in server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This is used for security and to diagnose faults.
• Through advertising and analytics cookies placed by third parties, described in sections 3 and 4 below.

2. Information stored in your own browser

This site saves two small values in your browser’s local storage. These stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and are not cookies:

• Your light or dark theme preference.
• A record that you have already unlocked a particular prompt, so you are not asked to wait again when you return within 24 hours.

You can clear both at any time through your browser’s “clear site data” settings. Clearing them affects nothing except that you will see the default theme and the unlock timer again.

3. Cookies and third-party advertising

PrompTub displays advertising in order to keep the prompt library free. Advertising is served by third-party vendors, and those vendors use cookies and similar technologies.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices or the NAI opt-out page.
• Some third-party vendors that we do not control may also place cookies on this site. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not by this one.

Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove advertising from the site — it means the ads you see will be less relevant to you.

4. Analytics

We may use website analytics to understand which prompts people find useful and to spot pages that are broken or slow. Analytics data is aggregated — it tells us that a page was viewed a number of times, not who viewed it. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine analytics data with any other information.

5. What we never do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. There is no database of visitors to sell.
• We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles ourselves.
• We do not see, store or transmit anything you type into an AI tool after copying a prompt. That happens entirely between you and that tool.
• We do not share your email correspondence with anyone outside PrompTub.

6. Data security and retention

This website is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our host is encrypted. Email correspondence is retained only while it is relevant to your enquiry and is then deleted. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under their standard retention period.

No method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@promptub.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information we hold about you, to object to its processing, or to request a copy of it. In practice the only personal information we hold is email correspondence you have sent us.

If you are in the EEA or the UK (GDPR): our lawful basis for processing is your consent (for advertising and analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website. You may withdraw consent at any time using the opt-out links in section 3, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@promptub.com. We will respond within the time limits required by applicable law.

9. Links to other websites

This site links to external websites, including the AI tools our prompts are written for. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. This policy applies only to promptub.com.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the site changes or as the law requires. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Please review this page periodically.
